fish stock assessment at Mura and Drava river in the course of the Lifeline MDD project
Last week, researchers from the Institute of Hydrobiology and Aquatic Ecosystem Management of University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) conducted a fish stock assessment at Mura and Drava river in the course of the Lifeline MDD project. They were able to detect around 40 different species. Big fish, like the carp caught close to the Mura/Drava confluence (pictured) are highlights of such surveys. We are keen to find out what the results of the fish study report will be!
